1. By entering the "CENTRESTAGE INSIDER Competition" (the Competition), you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions of entry (the Terms) and agree to be bound by them.

  2. By entering the Competition, you also confirm that you do not breach any law of Hong Kong regarding the legality of entering the Competition. Hong Kong Trade Development Council (the Promoter) will not be responsible for any entrant entering the Competition unlawfully or otherwise in breach of Hong Kong law. You are advised to check or seek advice on Hong Kong law before entering the Competition.

  3. Information on how to enter and get prizes form part of the Terms.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:

    • amend or vary any of the Terms at any time without prior notice and by entering the Competition you agree to any such amended Terms; and

    • terminate or disqualify any entrant's entry for the Competition or reclaim any Prize(s) at any time if it is the opinion of the Promoter that there has been a breach of any of the Terms by such entrant (whether discovered during or after the end of the Competition).

  5. You may enter the Competition for yourself as many times as you wish.

  6. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition. The Competition is open from 15 August 2019 to 23:59:59 hours on 30 September 2019 (Hong Kong time) (the Competition Period). The Competition Period is subject to change at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.

  7. Any entry submitted after the close of the Competition Period shall be void.

  8. To participate, all entrants are required to have a valid Instagram account and upload the photo(s) with hash tag #CENTRESTAGEHK via Instagram. Contestants need to change privacy setting to "public" for the promoter to view the submissions.

  9. Any entry submitted can only be voted for once from a unique Instagram account. Any abuse of the voting system, including vote-rigging or any kind of vote farms, will result in disqualification of the entry.

  10. The Winners will be contacted individually through Instagram Inbox and their identity will be recognized to receive their prize. In case any Winner is not available to be approached, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited their prize and a new Winner will be selected. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to deal with unclaimed Prizes in any manner.

  11. The Prize(s) in the Competition is product from sponsors (the Prize(s)), is subject to variation at the discretion of the Promoter, and any change will be final and binding upon every entrant in the Competition.

  12. The Winners must accept their Prize(s) in the form provided by the Sponsor. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash credit or kind, either in part or in full except at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter. The Prize(s) cannot be sold or bartered. There is no refund for any partially used Prize(s).

  13. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to deal with any unclaimed Prize(s) in any manner.

  14. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for any failure or breach by any party in connection with the Competition and/or Prize(s) and accepts no responsibility for any loss suffered by an entrant arising from the Competition or Prize(s).

  15. In all cases the Promoter will not be held liable if any Prize(s) does not reach any Winner for reasons beyond the Promoter's control.

  16. The Prize(s) are subject to:

    • the rules and regulations pertaining to the claiming of prizes in Hong Kong; and

    • the terms and conditions of any third party supplier of the Prize(s).

  17. The Winners may be liable for any expenses not specified on the description of the Prize(s).

  18. The Promoter's decisions as to any matter relating to the Competition, including but not limited to any entry eligibility, the winning entry(ies) and the Winners, will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into about the Competition or the judges' decisions.

  19. By participating in the Competition, the entrants:

    • warrant that the photograph submitted as a part of their entry into the Competition is an original photograph taken by them and in which they own all rights;

    • agree to the use of their name and/or likeness, without compensation, by the Promoter and/or any party authorized by the Promoter;

    • grant the Promoter and any party authorized by the Promoter an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right and license to use any material submitted as a part of their entry into the Competition (the Works) in any manner, for any purpose the Promoter may see fit, in all forms of media now known or hereafter invented, except that the Promoter will not use any of the Works for any commercial purpose not related to the Competition without the relevant entrant's prior consent;

    • to the fullest extent permitted by law, waive any moral rights or similar rights they may have in the Works or any part thereof throughout the world; and

    • undertake not to object to any use of the Works by the Promoter or any party authorized by the Promoter.

  20. Entrants shall indemnify the Promoter, its agents, employees, representatives, associates, affiliates, parent and subsidiary companies against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liability and/or expenses arising out of the entrant's breach of any of the Terms.

  21. Each entrant, by entering the Competition, expressly releases the Promoter from any claim, action or demand arising out of or in connection with the Competition or their Prize(s), if any. In particular, each entrant acknowledges that elements of the Prize(s) may be provided by third parties over whom the Promoter has no control, and acknowledges that the Promoter has no responsibility or liability for any costs, losses or damages resulting from any factors beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.

  22. The Promoter shall not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entrants' information. This will include but is not limited to technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost/delayed/garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of: any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof.

  23. If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to the reasons of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, any forms of Website/Instagram's defects or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.

  24. These Terms are available in English language and Chinese language versions. In the event of any discrepancy between such versions, the English language version shall prevail.
